Karachi: Aafia Movement Pakistan leader and noted neuro-physician of the country Dr Fowzia Siddiqui has said that every Pakistani wants that no one should be above the law in this country.

In a statement here Wednesday, she said that the nation feels that the chief of army staff General Qamar Bajiwa has represented the aspirations of the whole nation by saying that the uphold of the law should be ensured at all costs. She said that had this country enjoyed the rule of law in 2003, innocent Pakistani citizen Dr Aafia Siddiqui along with her three children would not have been kidnapped from Pakistan and sold to foreigners. She said in the presence of uphold of law the then rulers would not have dared to commit this heinous crime.

Dr Fowzia asked under which law Dr Aafia, a Pakistani citizen, was kidnapped along with her three minor children and handed over to the USA? She said even after passage of 14 long years not a single alleged crime of Aafia is proved in any court of law. She said the false and fabricated allegation under which Aafia was handed over an 86-year jail term has already been rejected by the international intellectuals, legal experts and human rights activists’ including Americans as 86-years of Bullshit.

She said however, the national pride of the Pakistani rulers is yet to be evoked. She said Allah, the Almighty, granted many chances to the Pakistani rulers to seek the release of Aafia but sadly they squandered all these chances. She said now it is time not to miss any other chance.

She said to safeguard the honor of the daughters of the nation and to dole out them justice should be the top priority of the rules. She said only uphold of law in the county would ensure good governance. She said the politicians could not role this country on the basis of false promises. She said the present assemblies and Senate have nothing to give to the Pakistani people.

She said the Aafia family has forgotten all atrocities meted out to them and demand early repartition of Aafia and their voice is also supported by 22 Crore Pakistanis. She said the whole nation expects that Aafia Siddiqui would greatly serve the nation and country in the field of education after returning back home.
