PMLN in hot waters; Abbasi to meet leaders in person

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM), Shahid Khaqaan Abbasi has been tasked by former PM Nawaz to meet every member assembly in person and address their grievances as Nawaz received a list of dissident party members trying to form grouping in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).

Sources told that Nawaz has directed PM that those who are angrier must be asked to talk to Nawaz Sharif telephonically, moreover, Shehbaz Sharif has verified the reservations of Nawaz Sharif regarding grouping in the party.

“Chief Minister (CM) Punjab has told Nawaz who is in London that if he had not given party presidency, it would have been difficult to manage the party”, sources added.

Shehbaz warned Nawaz that the party could not be managed till the period of 10 years if leadership goes in the hands of Maryam, on which, Nawaz gave him a list of dissident party workers which are almost 20 people trying to create problems.

Sources said that Nawaz again gave shehbaz a sweat pill and said that unless decision of review petition over Panama verdict not comes, he does not want to nominate anyone for party President Ship.

A dissident member of PMLN told that party would be dissolved into two groups after the elections of NA-120 as one powerful group has fastened belts for emergence.
