Three alleged terrorists killed in exchange of fire with Rangers

Rohri, Sindh: At least three suspected terrorists including two suicide bombers who had come to target Imambargah in Rohri were killed on Friday during exchange of fire with Sindh Rangers.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, Intelligence agencies had informed law enforcement agencies that the terrorists were planning to conduct a major terror act on the even of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain.

Keeping in view the information Rangers had made stringent security arrangement near Bab-e-Karbala Imambargah to avert any untoward incident.

Spokesperson told media that Rangers’ personnel during the checking signaled the terrorists to stop the vehicle but the terrorists opened fire at them.

“Rangers returned fire at the suspected terrorists, killing three, spokesperson added”.

Later on the bomb disposal squad defused the suicide vest.

Ranger’s spokesperson claims that the terrorists who were killed were affiliated with banned outfit.
