ISLAMABAD: Petition seeking revocation of bail of PML-N senior vice president Maryam Nawaz has been fixed for hearing in Supreme Court (SC).
A two members bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial will hear the case on August 22. Justice Athar Minallah is also part of the bench.
Maryam Nawaz is charged with accummulation of assets beyond known sources of income in Shamim Sugar Mills case.
NAB had filed petition seeking cancellation of bail of Maryam Nawaz in this regard.
On the other hand petitions seeking revocation of bail of former interior minister Rana Sana Ullah has also been fixed for hearing. A two members bench of SC presided over by the CJP Umar Ata Bandial will hear this petition. Notices have been issued to the respondents in this regard.
Rana Sana Ullah got a big relief in drug case.
It is pertinent to mention here that NAB had filed petition seeking revocaton of bail of Rana Sana Ullah.
