Court approves Sheikh Rashid plea for going abroad

Rawalpindi: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has approved former federal minister Sheikh Rashid plea for going abroad.

Sheikh Rashid appeared in the court along with his counsel Sardar Abdul Razaq Khan in the court Friday.

Counsel for Sheikh Rashid argued during the hearing of the petition name of Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has been placed in PNIL and Passport Control List.

Counsel for FIA said name of Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has been put in passport control list under the orders of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC).

Judge remarked let Sheikh Rashid go to perform Umrah. He will pray and betterment will come in the situation in the country.

Later Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan while allowing Sheikh Rashid to go abroad wrapped up the petition.
