Pakistan Post launches Postal IT Suit

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post has launched a comprehensive Postal IT (Information Technology) Suit catering to all their Postal needs, in collaboration with 360 Technologies and Pakistan Post foundation, meeting to the international standards defined by UPU in order to match the race.

The solution will be comprised on domestic mail and international mail system, complaint management system, SMS notifications with events delivery and booking as well as with the complaint lodging and closure.

The ceremony begun with a detailed briefing by the company’s representatives, Farrukh Bilal Qureshi (Chief Operating officer) & Ejaz Minhas (MD Foundation) to the whole postal management including DG, All Additional DG’s and All PMGs followed by a cake cutting ceremony and prayers for the smooth operations and success of the department.

The demonstration of the newly installed system and newly established call centre was given to the whole management and the ceremony concluded with applauds.

The Additional Director General (Ops), Fazli Sattar Khan, further shared their vision that Post is endeavouring to put up with the international standards defined by UPU and believes that matching those standards will certainly help Pakistan Post in re-establishing their brand in international and local market.

He confirmed that it was unanimously agreed in the meeting to keep blending IT in their operations in order to add towards better customer services and enhanced operating capacity.
