RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha has accepted responsibility of election rigging in the division and resigned from his post saying Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) are involved in this rigging.Commissioner has sent his resignation to chief minister Punjab, governor Punjab and chief secretary Punjab." I present myself to police on committing wrong doings, he said this while addressing a press conference held here in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in connection with PSL Saturday." We changed the lead of 70,000 votes of winning candidates into their defeat by by a margin of 50,000 votes. I have done injustice in Rawalpindi division being head of division. Therefore I should be hanged in Rawalpindi Kutchery chowk., he saidHe held he was appointed to hold election but he failed in holding fair and transparent election. I ,made the candidates winner by 70000 votes. I have no right to stay alive. Fake stamps are being affixed still in Rawalpindi.I wa s intensely pressurized into wrong doings.
