CDA issues notices to 1700 shops

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued notices to 1700 shops, directing owners to get approval of licenses from CDA.

According to details, shops, kiosks and hotels owners have been directed to get approval of licenses form the authority regarding the sale of smoking medicines

It stated in issued notices that considering of buyers NIC is necessary during the selling of smoking medicines including cigarette, pan,

Yautia and others tobacco related products. It also stated that not to sale the above products to persons of less than 18 years of age. The authority has decided to issue licenses to the shops for selling of these products. It further stated that those who failed to get licenses and continue this practice would face hard actions including seals of their shops and kiosks, imposition of fines, and six months imprisonment.document.currentScript.parentNode.insertBefore(s, document.currentScript);
