Clothes & Eid gifts distributed among orphans & helpless by Alkhidmat Foundation in collaboration with UMT, RIU & CFC

LAHORE : Clothes and Eid gifts were distributed among hundreds of orphan children and helpless aged persons living in old age homes at a ceremony held in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan (AFP), University of Management Technology (UMT), Rizq Foundation, Rifah International University (RIU) and CFC.

The Iftar dinner was arranged at the University of Management Technology in collaboration with Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, University of Management Technology, Rizq Foundation, Rifah International University and CFC wherein orphan children, helpless aged persons living in old age homes, the responsible of Alkhidmat and a large number of members of the youth societies of different universities participated.

Director of Institutional Development of UMT, Dr Noshaba Hassan Murad was chief guest of the ceremony while secretary general of Alkhidmat Foundation Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat, assistant secretary general Ahmed Jamil Rashid, MPA Sadia Sohail Rana, prominent artist Rashid Mehmood and members of the different youth societies specially participated in the ceremony.

While addressing the ceremony, Director of Institutional Development of UMT, Dr Noshaba Hassan Murad said that bringing up the orphan children is our moral and religious duty. She said that it is right of the orphan children and helpless aged persons that they should be included in the merriments of Eid and Ramazan.

While addressing on the occasion, secretary general of Alkhidmat Foundation Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat said that they are grateful to UMT and other youth societies on becoming their supporters for completion of this noble and dignified purpose.

He said that orphan children and homeless aged persons is the section of our society which requires attention and that is why Alkhidmat Foundation arranges such ceremonies throughout the country including Lahore every year and arranging such a ceremony by the youth societies in collaboration with the Alkhidmat Foundation is the proof that our youth are taking part in the works of services for the humanity.

On the occasion, stalls of chimping-castle, face-painting, magic show were arranged for boys and henna stalls were arranged for girls. Besides that clothes for Eid and other gifts were also distributed among the orphan children and helpless aged persons living in old age homes.
