Committee interviews candidates for CEO positions

ISLAMABAD: A four-member committee headed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar interviewed shortlisted candidates for the posts of Chief Executive Officers of House Building Finance Corporation, National Investment Trust and First Women Bank here on Saturday.

On the occasion, the Finance Minister said the government will fulfil all its commitments with the nation by ensuring the selections of CEOs on merit, competence and transparency.

Ishaq Dar emphasized that the state owned enterprises, which are currently not performing upto the required mark, will be restructured in a manner to make them efficient and productive.
