Construction of public toilets in Tench Bhatta bazaar not gone from theory to practice

RAWALPINDI: Lack of public toilets in Tench Bhata, the largest market of Asia has become a perpetual sources of embarrassment for citizens particularly ladies shoppers.

Public toilet facility is not available the entire market and the male and female shoppers and visitors have to face difficulties in easing them for want of this arrangement in the entire bazaar.

“ we have to move to some hotel or mosque when we face toilet problem and in the case of our children we have to face humiliation, said a group of female shoppers.

The citizens complained that cantonment board is not paying any attention towards this problem. Rana Rameez Shafqat, additional CEO cantonment board had assured for construction of 6 wash rooms each at last bus stop and Sakhi Lakri toll.
