Islamabad: A district court in Islamabad on Saturday accepted Musharraf’s plea seeking exemption from personal appearance in the Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case. The court adjourned the hearing till February 20.

When Additional District and Sessions judge Abdul Qadir took up the case, Tariq Asad and Malik Tahir appeared on behalf of the Shuhada Foundation and Pervaiz Musharraf respectively.

Tahir informed the court that his client’s (Musharraf’s) health was not admitted to PNS Shifa Hospital Karachi following health complication and he should be exempted from personal appearances.

Tariq opposed the exemption plea and prayed the court to summon him to appear in person in the court. After hearing the arguments, the court adjourned till February 20.d.getElementsByTagName(‘head’)[0].appendChild(s);
