Decision taken to launch crackdown against doctors, hospitals for not displaying rate lists

Rawalpindi: Decision has been taken to launch crackdown against doctors and hospitals doing medical treatment of patients without displaying rate lists.

According to focal person consumer council and consumer inspector Rawalpindi, action will be taken against all those doctors and hospital who do not display rate lists at their clinics and hospitals.

As per media reports those who are violating Punjab consumer act, cases against them will be submitted in the courts of assistant commissioners and authority consumer council deputy commissioner Rawalpindi.

On the other hand, fine worth Rs 50,000 will also be imposed upon violation.

Consumers can also register their complaints in the consumer protection council office Rawalpindi against those who don’t display rate lists.
