Decision to install CT scan machine in Railway hospital

RAWALPINDI: The administration of Islamic International Medical College Trust Railway General Hospital has decided to install state of the art CT scan machine to provide better health facilities to Railway employees.

16 slice CT scan machine will be imported from Germany. The state of the art machine will be delivered in Pakistan within next 3 months. It will be the first Railway hospital throughout the country which will provide the CT scan facility to Railway employees.

The Deputy medical superintendent of IIMCT Railway General Hospital DrArbaaz has told that the order has been given to German company for CT scan machine, the cost of delivery and installation of this machine will be 35 million whichIIMCT will bear.

He further told that many cases of accidents and diseases of Railway employees come in Hospital for which CT scan is required.
