Development in health, education sectors top priority: Deputy Mayor Naqvi

Islamabad: The newly elected Deputy Mayor of Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC), Syed Zeeshan Naqvi has said that development in health and education sectors would be his top priority.

Talking to “reporter” on Tuesday, he stated that work would be done on priority basis for the permanent and durable solutions of problems related to health and education sectors in Islamabad. He said that number of hospitals would be established in the Capital rural areas so that people to get latest and modern health facilities at their door steps.

Answering a question, he said that presently Federal area has only two main hospitals and these hospitals are facing lot of burden for which the visiting people are facing number of problems. He said that new hospitals would be established soon at the Capital rural areas so that poor people would avail this facility without facing any problem.

Responding another question, he made it clear that he hasn’t any link with land grabbers and added that number of plenty cases have been filed against those who levelled baseless allegations on him regarding the land grabbing.

Regarding the operation against the substandard food items in Federal capital he said that a grand operation would be launched against the hotels and food outlets owners these who involved in selling substandard and low quality food items and edibles.
