Ex CJ BHC Aman Ullah Yasinzai to be Governor Baluchistan

Quetta: President Dr. Arif Alvi has appointed former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Aman Ullah Yasinzai Governor Baluchistan on the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Cabinet Division has issued notification in this connection. Aman Ullah Khan Yasinzai remained Chief Justice of BHC from 2005 to 2009, whereas he also performed duty as acting governor of the province. He was among the judges who took oath on PCO in the dictatorship regime of General(R) Pervez Musharraf . However he resigned from the post of Chief Justice after Musharraf sent reference against Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhary to Supreme Judicial Council.

Yasinzai was born on 7th May , 1954 at Quetta. He got his masters degree from F.C. College Lahore. He started his practice as lawyer in 1981. He joined Baluchistan High Court in 1997 as a judge.
