First PIA flight reached in Kabul

Kabul: After the formation of the new government, Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) first flight carrying passengers landed at Kabul on Monday morning.

According to sources, the flight number PK-6249 arrived at 9: 45 am at local time. The head of PIA also travelled to Kabul on the first flight.

The World Bank officials and foreign journalists, who were stuck in Kabul due to ban on international flights, were also brought back to Pakistan.

Special arrangements were made by the Afghan Civil Aviation and PIA to restore services at Kabul.

The efforts of Pakistan’s Ambassador Mansoor Ahmed Khan in Afghanistan and other diplomatic staff in this regard are commendable.

PIA Chief Executive Officer Arshad Malik said that this operation is very important for the world. Arshad Malik also said everyone is looking at our compliments, the relationship will be restored and hopefully, we will be able to restore the operation completely soon.
