Five critically injured as ambulance fell into deep gorge

ABBOTTABAD: At least 5 people critically injured at Tooti road Sherwan when an ambulance fell into a deep ravine.

Police said, an applied for ambulance which was carrying a patient and family members from Tooti village of Sherwan circle and shifting the patient to Abbottabad fell into deep ravine as driver lost his control over the vehicle owing the slippery road.

The injured were identified as driver Abdul Razaq son of Jumma Khan, Haleema Bibi wife of Khanvez, 6 years old Fatima daughter of Khanvez, Ali Haider son of Sher Zaman and Khanvez son of Chanzeb.9

After the accident local police and Rescue 1122 reached the spot and rescued the injured from the ravine and shifted them to district headquarters hospital Abbottabad.

Police have confirmed that the accident has occurred owing to the slippery road.
