Govt determined to solve terrorism, energy challenges: CM Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said on Monday that the government is determined to solve the long-standing challenges of terrorism and energy crisis being faced by the country.

While addressing convocation at Lahore College for Women University, the chief minister said that Pakistan would revive its lost status soon and the government has started various projects for producing electricity from coal for ending energy crisis in the country.

Shahbaz Sharif said that if Lahore metro bus service could be fully functional within 11 months then we could also change the system of the country as well.

He said that the 2010 flood was severe but with cooperation these challenges were also overcome adding Pakistanis will have to work day in and day out for the development and prosperity of the country.
