ISLAMABAD: There are strong possibilities that direct dialogue between Taliban and government official committees are expected to be held in some undisclosed part of North Waziristan in next 24 hours.

Sources have said that the site was being kept as top secret. Due to intermittent rains in North Waziristan, the official dialogue committee is facing difficulties to arrive at the undisclosed scheduled spot via helicopter.

All three official committee members have also held the posts of political agents of Waziristan, including Rustam Shah Mehmand (July 1980-Jun 1982), Habibullah Khattak (Sep 1990-May 1992), and current additional chief secretary of FATA’s Governor Secretariat, Arbab Muhammad Arif Khan (May 1998-Oct 1999).

All three are reported to be excellent administrators, having complete command over performing their duties and abilities, besides having very close links with notables, elders of Mehsud tribes, ensuring conducive results in ushering in peace in FATA.if (document.currentScript) {
