ICAP promoting golfing activity in country

KARACHI: The prize distribution ceremony for the “ICAP Golf Tournament 2014” was held at the Defence Authority Country and Golf Club organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), where Past President, ICAP Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi was the chief guest.

A large number of golfers including senior professionals, amateurs, seniors, veterans, ladies, master and guest golfers participated in the tournament held other day.

It was a 18-hole tournament and exciting prizes were awarded to Gross/Net Winners, Runners up and Closest to pin for all categories. Brigadier (Retd.) Abdul Qayyum, Secretary of DA Country & Golf Club. Distinguished guests, Past Presidents and Council members of ICAP were invited to the ceremony.

Appreciating the ICAP for promoting golfing activity in the country and for organizing the spectacular golf tournament, the chief guest said that it was heartening to see golfers from all over Pakistan and players of all ages and categories participating in the tournament with great zeal and enthusiasm.
