ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) vice president Sherry Rehman said Friday former Prime Minister Imran Khan was naming his protests as “Jihad” to keep his politics alive, and demanded him to reveal whether against whom he was doing ‘jihad’.

In her statement, the PPP leader said Imran Khan was spending all his time and energy in doing politics of chaos and polarization. “To regain power, Imran may take country towards civil war,” she alleged.

Sherry Rehman said such polarization would never allow anyone to tackle with political and economic turmoil. “After pushing country into wreck, he is demanding immediate elections to regain power,” she maintained.

PPP leader said that previous PTI-led government had no strategy and plan to take country out of instability. “For the first time in history, a Prime Minister was removed from office through constitutional and parliamentary means,” Sherry said.
