Imran reiterates to continue political, diplomatic & moral support to Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris will be continued and voice will be raised at every forum for their right of self-determination and for getting the human rights violation ended in the occupied Kashmir.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was expressing these views during his one to one meeting with the former prime minister of Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhary at Prime Minister Secretariat in Islamabad on Friday.

They discussed overall situation and progress on the ongoing development projects in Azad Kashmir.

Imran Khan said that all the on-going packages for progress and development in Pakistan will be effectively forwarded to Azad Kashmir.

Prime Minister said that the process of accountability will be started for ending corruption, saying that they (government of Pakistan) has an eye on the funds which has been generously given to government of Azad Kashmir for welfare of the people.

Prime Minister said that corruption will not be tolerated at any cost and the corrupt elements will be brought to accountability.

On the occasion, former prime minister of Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhary thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan on behalf of 15.0 million Kashmiri people on effectively highlighting Kashmir issue on every forum.

Sultan Mahmood Chaudhary briefed the Prime Minister on the on-going cruelties in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the forthcoming elections of Azad Kashmir and requested the Prime Minister to extend the on-going projects in the federation to Azad Kashmir. Upon this, while giving his approval, Prime Minister immediately issued instructions to the concerned authorities.
