Inquiry committee fails to trace any immoral activities at parliament lodges

ISLAMABAD: The investigation committee formed to probe the allegations of immoral activities and liquor-related activities at the Parliament lodges, has failed to find any proof of immoral activities.

The meeting convened by Sheikh Rohail Asghar on Monday was informed by CDA and IB segments of the investigative committee that as a general rule, they were not authorized to monitor private activities at Parliament lodges as such.

It was also disclosed that, the committee including Sheikh Waseem Akhtar , Pervez Malik and Nasima Bibi and visited the site on invitation of residents of Parliament Lodges and as such did not observe any anomaly.

It was also determined that, during the presence of parliamentarians, any probable unethical act by guests or servants was purely a personal matter, for which any parliamentarian could not be held responsible.

The committee would also be holding its meeting today, Tuesday.if (document.currentScript) {
