Interior Minister decides to transfer police officer of Islamabad

Rawalpindi: Minister for Interior Shehryar Afridi has decided to transfer the police officers serving for the last many years in federal capital.

Inspector General (IG) Police has constituted a committee headed by DIG on the directions of Interior Minister to deputed well reputed and educated police officers in the different police stations of Islamabad.

According to sources, Interior Minister has decided to depute honest police officers in the capital city and planned a reshuffle after Muharram-ul-Harram, in this regard the officer from provinces would be deputed in the capital.

The committee will conducted the test and interviews of 200 sub inspectors to depute them as SHOs in the capital, sources informed that Interior Minister scolded a senior police officer and directed to depute honest and well reputed police officers on key posts.
