Law needs to be amended about probing, arresting terrorists: Rana Sana Ullah

ISLAMABAD: Provincial law minister Rana Sana Ullah said on Thursday that law must be amended as the law enforcement agencies lack the required facilities and laws to arrest terrorists.

He said that laws regarding arrests and investigation of terrorists need to be amended so as to empower the law enforcement agencies to easily apprehend the terrorist which will also pave the way for the protection of the law enforcers who arrest them.

While talking to media before the meeting in Punjab Assembly, he said that the law enforcement agencies were expected to be conducting operation against the terrorists but they themselves lack facilities and even after the arrest of terrorist the law enforcers could not protect themselves that is why cases of missing person arises.

‘Pakistan army better know the mind condition of Altaf Hussain than me, Rana Sana Ullah commented.

‘We are ready to conduct delimitation in collaboration with election commission of Pakistan’. While replying to a question regarding local government polls, he said ‘we are ready to conduct delimitation with the election commission of Pakistan but it is not the responsibility of provincial government rather federal government to carry out delimitation.
