ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has lodged its strong protest against atrocious killings of 6 Tehrik-e-Minhaj -Al-Quran activists in Lahore’s Model Town, staging a walkout from proceedings.

Talking over parliament’s point-of-order on Tuesday, MQM’s Farooq Sattar said that atrocities of police were an open indication of government’s un-democratic behaviour, while PTI’s Javed Hashmi initiated the Lahore police carnage, as he berated the vicious extra-judicial killings of children and women, and rapidly deteriorating law and order situation, even in Punjab.

Opposition leader, National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah has also condemned the brutal and vicious murders of innocent citizens, warning that such endeavours would automatically decrease 6 months of government’s tenure.

“We never stopped or subjected PML-N rallies to brutal atrocities or even bans during our (PPP’s) tenure” he said, resolving to assist government according to democrat norms.
