Lahore: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal Sunday said that Pakistan’s economic growth would have by-passed that of India and Bangladesh if elected people were allowed to run the country.

Ahsan Iqbal was addressing a ceremony in Lahore’s Jamia Naeemia to remember Islamic scholar Sarfaraz Naeemi.

Ahsan Iqbal said that those who hold an ill-intention towards ‘Madaris’ should behave soberly. No one has any right to label any one as heavenly or hellish, as this is the prejudice of only Allah himself.

Ahsan Iqbal said that Muslims today have been brainwashed and compelled to fight against their Muslim brothers. We have to eradicate discrimination and hate from our society.

PML-N senior leader further said that Pakistan’s people have not been able to run their own country from past seven decades, rather IMF and other international forces have completely been dictating us. We always have to restart our journey after every 10 years. Political stability is the base of a strong economy. Tanks and other weaponries cannot guarantee a strong defense, but a strong economy can, Ahsan Iqbal said.
