LAHORE: Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Secretary General Milli Yekjahti Council Liaqat Baloch while talking to reporters on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the unique undotted Urdu translation of the Holy Qur’an by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mustafa and his visit to the center for collective sacrificial animals in Lahore said that The Holy Qur’an is a miraculous inspired book. Until the Day of Judgment, translators and commentators will continue their efforts to translate the Holy Qur’an for the guidance of humanity.

Liaqat Baloch said that the first undotted translation of the Holy Qur’an in the Islamic world is a great achievement and a great blessing and religious service. The right of the Qur’an is to make it dominant and superior in the state system. The Objectives Resolution, the 22 points of the Ulema, the 17-point Code of Conduct among all sects and the implementation of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will make Pakistan a dignified, independent and stable country. In this way, scholars and lovers of Islam should unite on the national priorities and create an environment for the guidance of the people.

Talking to the workers at the center for collective sacrificial animals in Lahore, Liaqat Baloch said that Eid-ul-Adha combines prayer, fasting, Hajj, sacrifice and charity for the believers. The workers of Jama’at-e-Islami are providing great facilities to the believers to perform the Sunnah of Abraham (a.s). Animal sacrifice is the Sunnah of Abraham (a.s) and the Sunnah of the last of the Prophets (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), there is no substitute for it. Those who can afford it must make sacrifices and on this occasion the poor, deserving people should be given priority. With the repetition of the Sunnah of Abraham (a.s), Muslims should break the idols of lies, backbiting, jealousy, adulteration, underestimation and hatred.

Talking to the delegation of teachers, Liaqat Baloch said that under the guise of implementing a national curriculum, a curriculum based on secularism, liberalism and based on un-Islamic ideology is being imposed. Under the umbrella of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government and under the leadership of the Federal Minister of Education, imperialist, atheist NGOs are gradually imposing capitalist, atheist values on the country and the nation. The ancient Islamic, political and cultural traditions are being radically changed in the era of the government claiming the state of Madinah (Riyasat-e Madinah).

Liaqat Baloch said that NGOs working in the guise of curriculum reforms are sub-offices of the US State Department. Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Justice of Pakistan should play their due role to stop playing with the education system and curriculum and a national commission should be formed for a uniform, non-class curriculum based on Islamic ideology and Islamic system of education.
