Nine MNAs ready to leave PML-N, claims Sheikh Rashid

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday claimed that nine Members of National Assembly (MNAs) are ready to leave Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The federal minister talked to media in Lahore. Referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s imminent meeting PML-N lawmakers today (Monday), he said the premier’s politics will actually begin from today (Monday).

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed stressed that Senate chairman will not be changed. Pakistan Army is standing with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government, he affirmed.

The railways minister said Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken control of PML-N. He further added that he is not in favor of any deal but relaxation should be given to the arrested persons to return the money to the government.

Shiekh Rashed Ahmed admitting that masses grievances not resolved in the PTI’s 10 months in power said that if any single honest leader were present in the ranks of opposition parties then time will be tough for Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Shiekh Rashed said that the government will not get any single penny by hanging any corrupt.

Chief of AML, advising Prime Minister Imran Khan to be soft on the opposition parties said that “Imran Khan doesn’t need to do any deal instead he should be soft dealing with the opposition parties.”

Shiekh Rashed said that “the federal budget has passed while politics of Imran Khan is going to start from tomorrow adding that we will turn Pakistan graveyard of commission mafia and money launderers.”

He urged the government “the government should concentrate on resolving masses problems and grievances instead of political upheavals.”

Shiekh Rashed claimed that factionalism is on full swing in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) while the leadership of the party has moved to Maryam Nawaz”s hands and Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif should be ashamed on it that Maryam Nawaz has occupied the party.

He said that “Asif Ali Zardari knows how to make and remove Chairman Senate” adding the parties attended the JUI-F led APC deceived Maulana Fazalur Rehman.

Regarding the Railways occupied lands, he said that those who occupied the Railways lands have been given 90 days time to vacate their occupation.

Shiekh Rashid Ahmad said government is taking all possible measures for development of Railways to ensure provision of comfortable, modern, swift and safe means of transportation to the people.

He said the Prime Minister will inaugurate Sir Syed Express on the third of next month. He said the Railways budget will be presented tomorrow (Tuesday).

He said efforts are underway to eliminate the deficit of Railways within five years. Shaikh Rashid said all encroachments on thirty six kilo meters Karachi circular Railways have been removed.

He said former rulers did not spend a singer penny on development of railway track in Sindh, therefore maximum derailment and rail accidents take place here.
