Pakistan not sending troops to any country: Rasheed

Islamabad: Information Minister Pervez Rasheed Wednesday said that the government is not sending its army to any other country.

Talking to media here, he said Pakistan has adopted a policy not to interfere internal matters of any country.

He said media and politicians are spreading speculation in wake of $1.5 billion gift from a friendly country.

He said no country has requested Pakistan to send its troops to their countries, adding that Pakistan was also not interested to send its troops to other countries.

He said Metro Bus Service project is being established for common people of the twin cities to provide them modern and state of the art facility of transportation.

The minister said Imran Khan’s PTI is following PML-N government policies in KP.

He said dialogue process with Taliban is moving towards success and added that Nawaz government wants peace to be restored in the country with peaceful means.

Rasheed said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has a vision to establish friendly relationship with all neighbour countries.

On issue of Bangladeshi government order which banned its citizens not to carry flags of other countries, the minister said sports must be kept away from politics.

He termed Bangladeshi government decision is ridiculous saying that in this era how can one stop people to support their favorite team in T-20 world cup.if (document.currentScript) {
