Pakistani Nation very brave, full of confidence, courage: Hamza Shahbaz

LAHORE: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistani Nation is very brave and no power of the world can shatter its confidence or courage.

While giving away commendatory certificates and shields to the organizers and school children displayed outstanding performance during various programmes in connection with Jashan -e-Baharan at Jilani Park today, he said that all should resolve to pledge for stability of democracy in the Country, as “ development and prosperity of the country and democracy are interlinked”.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif congratulated district administration for reviving city parade. He said that our nation has stood test of time particularly our women and new generation has the spirit of marching forward and setting national records by our youth during Punjab Youth Festival is proof of it. He disclosed that our youth are trying to set 60 international records. He said that Punjab Youth Festival has attracted other province and a festival has been arranged in Balochistan on the pattern of Punjab.

He also said that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif considered young generation future of the country in real sense, hence an educational endowment fund of ten billion rupees has been set up for talented but poor children, besides endowment fund of two billion rupees for the deserving children showing outstanding performance in sports.

He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif believed in respectable status of the country in the comity of nations, while reminding that Nawaz Sharif had invited Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee in 1997 during which the Indian Prime Minister under the shadow of Minar-e-Pakistan had said that India wanted relations with Pakistan on equality basis.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that due to the sincere efforts of PML-N government, load-shedding would soon be overcome. He expressed the hope that after five years tenure, there will be no load-shedding in the Country rather Pakistan would be exporting additional electricity to other countries.} else {
