Petition filed in SC seeking disqualification of Sindh finance minister

ISLAMABAD: Petition has been filed in Supreme Court (SC) seeking disqualification of Sindh finance minister Murad Ali Shah.

The petition has been filed by a citizen under article 184 (3) of the constitution making provincial election commission, Sindh government and others respondents.

The petitioner has taken the plea that Murad Ali Shah is misusing his powers and this way causing loss to national exchequer. Therefore, he be restrained from discharging his functions and he be declared disqualified under article 62 and 63 of the constitution. All the perks and privileges be recovered from him.
