PIA all set to induct 13 new aircrafts in its fleet

ISLAMABAD: Chairman, Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Muhammad Ali Gardezi has said induction of 13 more planes in PIA will help to overcome its deficit.

While confirming the purchase of 13 new planes, Gardezi said PIA will overcome current deficit and will also start to earn more money.

Nine aeroplanes are out of order that needed repairing and refurbishing but no efforts have been made so far to recondition these planes and make them useful while the national flag carrier can be further flourish its services alongwith earnings, according to sources.

‘To make functional and repair all the 9 aeroplanes of PIA, which lying out of order, need spare-parts including APBGO, APGEC, APBEU, APBBQ, APBEB AND PBGS, the sources added.}
