PM summons federal cabinet meeting on October 16

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of the federal cabinet on October 16.

The meeting will be held at the prime minister’s office to discuss a 15-point agenda. During the meeting, PM Imran Khan is expected to take the committee into confidence about his visit to China and meetings with Chinese leadership.

The premier’s upcoming visit to Iran and Saudi Arabia will also be discussed. The cabinet meeting will review the political and economic situation of the country. The cabinet will be briefed on the assets of the defamatory properties while the cabinet will also be briefed on the Islamabad master plan.

The cabinet will review the implementation of measures related to public interest. The decisions made in the previous meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee at the Federal Cabinet meeting will be ratified.

Appointment of the Managing Director of National Fertilizer Marketing Limited, the appointment of board members under the Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act, the Real Estate Ordinance 2019 are included in the cabinet agenda.

In addition, a cabinet meeting will also present a report on wheat situation in the country.
