PML-N president decides to convene APC on election bill

LAHORE : The President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly has decided to convene an all-party conference on the controversial government election bill.

According to a private TV report an all-party conference will be convened on the controversial government election bill, the date of the All Parties Conference (APC) will be decided soon after consultation with all the opposition parties.

According to sources, all political parties belonging to the opposition will be invited to the APC.

It has been decided to invite the concerned parties, civil society and media including the Election Commission in the APC.

Various organizations and institutions which monitor the election and its process will also be invited.
