ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has demanded the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser to withdraw his decision of cancelling all sessions of house’s standing committees which were scheduled for the Tuesday.

Senior PPP leader Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari slammed Asad Qaiser, claiming that he has become “a slave to Prime Minister’s orders”.

He alleged that those who attacked parliament are now attempting a takeover on the legislative body.

Accusing PTI government of trying to run their affairs in an undemocratic way, PPP leader Shazia Ata Marri also took a jibe at the incumbent regime.

“NA Speaker’s orders seem to have some connection with the issuance of production orders. The speaker is at mercy of the undemocratic attitude of government”, she claimed.
