Islamabad: Newly elected PTI’s Member National Assembly Ali Awan has forced CDA to stop an anti encroachment operation in sector G-7.

Anti encroachment operation was started to retrieve a plot with the cost of billions rupees plot by CDA in sector G-7 Markaz but operation was suddenly stopped when MNA’s reached the spot and intervene in the operation. The land was actually owned by Post Office but was grabbed by some private persons where they have made a junkyard of old things.

On stopping the operation the officials of Post Office showed disappointment by saying that the current government should avoid cooperation with land mafia. They also demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to take action against the supporters of the land mafia.

CDA’s Member Estate , Khushal Khan ordered the enforcement department to evacuate costly five kanals plot from the clutches of land mafia on the complaint from the post office. When enforcement department started operation then PTI’s newly elected MNA from NA-53 Ali Awan reached on the spot and ordered CDA’s staff to stop the operation at once and leave the place.

MNA also said to enforcement staff that if operation would be done again then department’s officials would be responsible for this.

Deputy Director CDA Riaz Khan informed the Member Estate about the interference from ruling party’s MNA, who called his staff back.

CDA’s Member Estate Khushal Khan told that the land belonged to post office an its administration had written letters many times to evacuate the plot. But when enforcement directorate started the operation , the land mafia called MNA and the drive became unsuccessful due to political involvement.
