Lahore: Punjab Assembly’s speaker Chaudhary Parvez Elahi Saturday said that Almighty Allah has blessed me with decorating the Punjab Assembly with Ayats and Ahadith, words are not enough to express my gratitude to Allah for this favor.
Punjab Assembly’s opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif called on Ch Parvez Elahi at the Assembly Chambers here Saturday.
Appreciating the efforts of Ch Parvez Elahi, Hamza Shehbaz said that holding of the assembly session in a peaceful atmosphere is an important step towards promoting democratic political traditions.
While thanking all political parties, Chaudhary Parvez Elahi said that the new building of the Punjab Assembly reflects Islamic traditions in real meanings and interpretation of the aspirations of Pakistani people.
Views were also exchanged during the meeting for running the assembly sessions in future also appreciably.
