Rural areas of IBD to have 8 new educational institutions in next financial year

ISLAMABAD: Government has decided to launch 8 new educational projects including construction of new educational institutions at the cost of Rs 1.49 billion in the rural areas of federal capital from the next financial year.

The new 8 projects will include construction of Boys colleges in Pakistan Town and Margalla town, educational institutes for Girls in Khanna dak, sector G-13 and Panjgran and a library in the name of renowned poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz.

Ministry of CADD has included 8 new educational projects for Islamabad in its development budget for the year 2016-17.

Middle School for girls will be constructed at the cost of Rs 52.5 million in Khanna Dak, Boys college at the cost of Rs 166 million, Boys college at the cost of Rs 250.02 million in Margakka town, Model college for Girls in G-13 at the cost of Rs 465.2 million, upgradation of Girls school into college in Panjgran at the cost of Rs 111 milion. Educational institute for mentally retarded children will be constructed in H-8 and educational institute for disabled children will be built in G-8 at the cost of Rs 77.2 million.
