SC seeks all the record of military courts proceedings

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) during the course of hearing of appeal pleas filed by facilitators of APS tragedy and convict from Nowshehra blast against military courts decision has sought all the record of military courts proceedings.

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked “ the matter is of highly sensitive nature. We can not give more adjournment. All the record be presented.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed took up the case for hearing on Tuesday.

Attorney General (AG) Suleman Butt appeared in the court and told that the appeals of all the convicts have been rejected and the decision regarding death penalty for the convicts stays.

The appeal pleas were filed by Taj Mohammad and Ali ur Rehman, facilitators in APS incident and Qari Zubair, convict in Nowshehra blast.
