KARACHI: As Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) declared the upcoming 15 days as highly vital and advised Karachiites to accumulate the edibles at their houses, Sindh Rangers on Thursday put it categorically that there is no need to panic.

The paramilitary force issued a statement that some elements are stoking fears in the city but citizens are not required to be frightened.

Sindh Rangers assured the citizens that the law-enforcers are alert on their marks hence the people should have confidence in the law-enforcement agencies. The Rangers also advised the citizens to report any suspicious individual or activity on the help line of the paratroopers.

Distressed at the course of events, the MQM’s Coordination Committee had said that the party’s protest rallies and public gatherings have been postponed for unspecified period of time.} else {
