KARACHI: Despite a relentless ongoing operation against violent criminals, target-killing seems to die hard in the metropolis as on Thursday alone six people including two women and a cop were killed in cold-blood.

Reports of shooting-related deaths poured in from almost all over the city including Orangi Town, Memon Goth, Gulshan-e-Maymar’s Jamali Goth, Federal B Area, etc.

It was just not another Thursday for cops in Orangi Town, where unidentified biker gunmen emptied their automatic weapons on a police mobile in the broad-daylight killing a cop and a passerby. The deceased were identified as constable Mehboob and Sabir.

The attackers, who the cops claimed were also wearing police uniforms, revved away from the crime scene successfully.
