Tariq Azeem Khan inaugurates park attributed to name of Father of Nation.

Toronto: Pakistan High Commissioner to Canada has inaugurated a park attributed to the name of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Hundreds of people took part in the inaugural ceremony from across Canada.

Addressing the function Pakistan High Commissioner Tariq Azeem Khan said that this credit goes to the Canadian community of Pakistan origin in Manitoba, North America which has been successful to attribute the park to the name of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. He further said it is a moment to pay homage to the founders who have sacrificed for a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.

The function was also addressed by members of Canadian parliament Terry Duguid and Aqra Khalid. They congratulated the participants and Pakistani community for attributing the park to the name of Father of the Nation.
