Uprooting corruption, bringing people out of poverty top priorities of government: Arif Abbasi

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Mohammad Arif Abbasi has stated that uprooting corruption and bringing people out of poverty are the top priorities of PTI government.

In an interview with “media” he stated that country people had expressed full confidence on PTI in the last held general election and now government is trying it best to put country on the path of prosperity and development.

Responding a question, he stated that previous government had baldy utilized the country resources as poor people of the country desperate for basic necessities of life.

Answering another question, he stated that PTI government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan was doing a great job and now whole world was realizing the importance of the Pakistan. Even the countries like USA and UK were inviting Prime Minister Imran Khan for visit.

He stated that the poor people were deprived of their basic rights in past, but present government of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) would ensure protection of their rights.

Highlighting the basic idea of this housing scheme, he said, it would help materialize dream of the poor about owning their house.

Responding another question, he stated that action will be taken against illegal housing societies and added that a committee was being formulated to take action against illegal housing societies. “People should check the web-site of RDA before making investment in housing societies’ he added.
