Work underway on USAID funded energy projects

ISLAMABAD: Work is underway at Tarbela, Jamshoro, Mangla, Guddu, and Muzzafargarh power plants to add fourteen hundred megawatts additional electricity to the national grid.

These projects, initiated with the financial assistance of USAID, will be completed by the end of current year.

Director USAID’s Energy Office Michael Curtis said in Islamabad that USAID is also funding Gomal Zam and Satpara dam projects.

He said the Agency is also assisting Pakistan in improving its power distribution system.} else {
