Workers of RWMC appeal to CM Punjab on forced removals

Rawalpindi: Garbage heaps are seen everywhere in Rawalpindi as cleanliness system has disturbed due to the forced removals of sanitary workers and drivers from Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC).

The problems of the citizens has increased due to plight of cleanliness of the city by virtue of shortage of sanitary staff as RWMC and its subsidiary department Albayrak has downsized its employees by 50% and most the remaining staff have resigned from the job . .

Some 136 employees of Albayrak had already filed petition in court and court has clearly orders of re-joining of employees but the administration not getting tired on this matter.

However, due to the delay in salary and bogus penalties those workers are so worries. The SKILLs Company has deducted Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 monthly from workers salaries because the Managing Director of RWMC Dr. Rizwan Sherdil is the right hand of SKILLs Company.

The affected workers of RWMC and Albayrak has appealed to Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Municipalities Minister Abdul Aleem Khan visit to city and checking the condition of cleanliness.
