Peshawar: 14 people lost their lives in Torghar area of KPK as several houses were turned into trash by thunderstorm lightening, reported.

Police have said that amidst heavy rain falls, three houses collapsed in the area, with residents succumbed under detritus.

Later rescue operations recovered their dead bodies and injured were moved to nearby hospital.

KP Chief Minister Mehmood Khan has passed on his condolences on tragic loss of precious lives.

Chief Minister directed district administration and rescue institutions to abruptly relieve victims and said that government stands firm with them.
