16 succumb to coronavirus, 622 tested positive during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: 16 people died and 622 tested positive due to coronavirus during last 24 hours in the country.

As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) latest data 44334 coronavirus tests were conducted during last 24 hours of which 622 were reported positive. Tally of tests conducted so far has come to 20,366,157.

Positive cases have soared to 1,266,826. The positivity ratio stands at 1.4 percent.

As per province wise detail 466,750 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438,433 in Punjab 177,132 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 106,571 in Islamabad, 34,417 in Azad Kashmir, 33,13 33,149 8 in Balochistan and 10,374 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

With the current deaths of 16 persons the tally of fatalities has surged to 28328.

As many as 12,876 persons have succumbed to the epidemic in Punjab 7,536 in Sindh 5,698 in KP, 938 in Islamabad, 740 in Azad Kashmir, 354 in Balochistan, and 186 in GB.

1,213,799 patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,690 patients are said to be in precarious condition

34,809,848 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 93,551,193 doses have been administered so far in the country.
